Below is our most recent review to appear in the 2012 Age Good Food Guide is: "It's easy to see why weddings, weekends away and conferences keep Immerse busy, with it's lodge, spa and cellar door set among sprawling rose gardens and vines. Lunch might feature house made Pumpkin Tortellini in seafood bisque or Polenta soldiers with poached egg and asparagus. Fine ingredients, friendly service and good value add to the rural charm."
Our 2011 Age Good Food Guide, our 5th year running:
`It's rose gardens make Immerse a well-loved spot to get hitched, but it shouldn't be overlooked by those seeing good-value dining featuring quality produce. Expect starters like smoked local trout or home-made pumpkin gnocchi. Mains might be Otway free-range pork belly slowly roasted and served on sour cream and silverbeet mash. Chocolate and caramel tart with peanut icecream and port syrup may be a bit out there, but it works.'
Our 2010 Age Good Food Guide review:
"A welcoming dining room with stone fireplace and lounges overlooking a blooming rose garden make this vineyard complex a popular spot for weddings and indulgent weekends. Dishes are matched to the estate's wine: sauvignon blanc with salt-and-pepper calamari, perhaps, or chardonnay with smoked chicken and pesto pappardelle. Desserts can be uneven but coffee is good and service cheery."
Our 2009 Age Good Food Guide listing:
"Many 'til death do us parts' have been exchanged at Café Immerse. And why not? Lush rose gardens, a wide deck and leafy grounds support large groups, as does the big modern dining room and stone hearth. Sunny staff are happy to help –while brining you a juicy eggplant parmigiana with sweet Napoli or Spanish omelette with paprika mayo. The coffee's good, too."
Why not visit Immerse for breakfast, after all it is the most important meal of the day! Breakfast is served from 9am-10.30am on Saturday & Sunday.
